As a retired real estate attorney and administrative law judge, I have learned the value of working with a professional realtor. He came and looked at the house we were selling and gave us some tips on how to prepare it for sale, as well as an honest assessment of where to price it. Thank goodness we listened, because our house had an offer for full asking price before it even went live on the market.
When searching for a home, he educated us on the little details that make a great house. When we put in an offer, he kept us updated on the entire process, even with the little things. When we were ready to put in an offer, his expert and honest negotiating skills got us a great deal.
